Oops. A look back at the trail.
May 17, 2019
Elizabeth Warren is in complete command of her policy agenda. She is writing the major Democratic planks now, leaving Bernie to grouse over commas and semi-colons, while Joe is content to be Joe, and the others struggle for relevancy. Equally as important, her campaign persona has undergone a subtle change. Whereas her once unrelentingly urgent tone could seem strident and off-putting, her public persona is more relaxed and comfortable, her ebullience unforced. Her stump speech is now delivered at less than full force gale, inviting listeners to lean in towards her rather than being hurtled back by the force of her personality. These are welcome developments in the marketing of the most qualified candidate in the field. She will have to overcome the Trump branding and will always be a divisive figure, but she's easily as smart, tough, intelligent and experienced as any candidate and she's completely fearless. If she becomes the President of the United States, it would be a credit to us all. March 6, 2020
