Linda Ronstadt's stilled voice will hurt for a long, long time

Linda Ronstadt was recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. At age 67, she is no longer able to sing.

Regardless of what one thinks of her artistry, (a topic that has been the subject of much debate over the years), the fact remains that hers has been among the most beautiful pop/country voices of the past 50 years. Life can be very cruel and the silencing of her voice should sadden  her many fans for a long, long time.
She has spoken of her situation with candor and courage and deserves the best wishes and thanks from music lovers everywhere.
Below is a look back.
