The Swingle Swingers dance and sing a Piazzolla Tango

No instruments were used in the performance of this music.
All sounds were produced by the human voice.

The Swingle Singers are an acapella singing group formed in Paris in 1962. Initially dedicated to performing classical compositions beginning with Bach, over time their repertoire expanded to include music by The Beatles and compositions by contemporary artists including, among others, John Martyn's lovely ballad, Couldn't Love You More  and Nick Drake's haunting River Man.

Among their more impressive forays was this visit to the music of the father of the modern tango, Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992) .
