The reason The Lying Don won’t release his tax returns has nothing to do with being audited. That does not preclude him from releasing the returns. He has been audited many times before. According to him, he's always being audited. And it’s not because the
returns show he’s not nearly as rich as he pretends to be.
And it’s not because he pays no income taxes, even though it's a good bet he doesn't. It’s not even because his paltry charitable contributions will prove he is a miserly cheapskate, although that’s exactly what he is.

So, he turned to the Russian government,which lent him untold millions of dollars to build golf courses and pay for his other toys, not to mention the multi millions of Russian money that was laundered through Trump casinos, an investigation that was stymied when (surprise!) Trump fired Preet Bhara, the Federal attorney who was investigating the matter.

His own heirs at law, Senior Prince Donny Junior admitted their involvement with the Russians. Prince Number 2 Eric admitted it.
There is no reason on earth why anyone with a modicum of common sense should believe that forked tongued serpent when he denies it.
