The world changed forever the day Bret Maverick Sent The Man With No Name Packing

Many lives changed that fateful day Bret Maverick whupped The Man With No Name and followed it up by gunning down John Wesley Hardin in the streets of The Warner Brothers film lot

Abby Dalton abandoned the Wild West to hitch up with Joey Bishop. Edgar Buchanan got out of his wheel chair and walked to Petticoat Junction. John Wesley Hardin  became a legend to Bobby Zimmerman. Clint What's-His-Name fled to Italy to learn how to dirty fight.
Oh, and for those who missed the end of this episode, the feller Bret gunned down wasn't John Wesley Hardin, after all. It was Brother Bart. Wotta surprise! 'course when the real John Wesley heard the news, the Maverick brothers had to hightail it out of yet another town. Those rascals.
Yup. Maverick was a legend of the west!

Maverick Theme

Who is the tall, dark stranger there?
Maverick is the name.
Ridin' the trail to who knows where,
Luck is his companion,
Gamblin' is his game.
Smooth as the handle on a gun.
Maverick is the name.
Wild as the wind in Oregon,
Blowin' up a canyon,
Easier to tame.

Riverboat, ring your bell,
Fare thee well, Annabel.
Luck is the lady that he loves the best.
Natchez to New Orleans
Livin on jacks and queens
Maverick is a legend of the west.

Riverboat, ring your bell,
Fare thee well, Annabel.
Luck is the lady that he loves the best.
Natchez to New Orleans
Livin on jacks and queens
Maverick is a legend of the west.
